Simplicity
1
unable to write poetry.
in this not unlike the animal
the sound,
twitter
and sunlight
of this biome.
the animal does not write poetry

2
this is not a poem
to be,
being-in-the-biome,
always already
death
time

3
i am an animal
always already unreflectively bodies in this biome, ever to interpret being-with, ever reinterpreting
i do not write poetry
~
ever,
always already, unreflectively plants and animals
dying

4
dogs
grass, sunlight
only the human rules
the white man
trees,
a mountain, cats
speech

5
thrownness
of the dog, the llama
the flame
Swedish
this discoverture

6
language is itself
temporal
speaking bodies
towards death
so authentic
so that writing as an animal
primordial
in this piece
i lose my place
in thought
and unfold
as time

7
i have given up
and taken up
- i’m no poet,
i’m an animal -
being-with-plants
on earth
with the sky.

8
thinking makes space, as the animal
is time,
and the human animal
in rhyme
becomes the current
understanding, as the animal
types, of time
as tide

9
this is not a poem
this is not thinking
this is an animal
writing without definite purpose
always already in a mood
always already in a reciprocal relation to an animate alterity
always already in the true dumb
in this biome
is our death
is our home.

10
the homeless, the animals
the plants, the women
in our world together as white males
in the biome
poetry is by the white among the animals
i do not write poetry
i am an animal

In-der-Biome-sein

Dasein’s facticity
is characterized by this possibilty of death / face to face
with the infinite, the Other
as a mountain stream, as when you hear them cuckoos hollerin’
so . . .
experience (the “phenomenal” world / material
of the “flesh” (Merleau-Ponty) of language
,in this “life-world” (Husserl)
or “biome” (Mbaruk)
as embodied birds
The solution / many other bodies
“being-in-the-world” (Heidegger)
always already seems to accompany awareness/ of the “illeity” (Levinas)
on the way
to ecology, ecophenomenology
in breathing, in beholding
The phenomenal / as among many bodies
signs do not signify anything / In this manner every Aboriginal person
is not
as private ownership, proprioception/ without the Wind at large
the plants and animals
Einstein’s equations
Being is spacetime, rediscovered by Merleau-Ponty . . . “time that is space, space that is time”
for the Navajo, then, the air
the self is simply / the psyche of the land

In Space

“the I
is [...] a plurality of texts, of codes which are infinite”

1
the ego
limits what we might call the freeplay of the structure
of the cosmos

2
private ownership
is natural,
the planets
ours, and infinity
the real impossible in our being together as
the unconscious

3
the bricoleur, says Levi-Strauss, is someone who uses
“the means at hand,” that is,
the instruments he finds at his disposition around him:
earth, sunlight
the illusion of autonomy
the function of the imago
dreams of deciphering
it
affirms freeplay and tries to pass beyond man,

3
the I
read
the heavens
blue
the welkin
attractive
self-formation
and -reform, continual
in the face of alterity
and
“in the case of the migratory locust” (Lacan)

4
redistribution
of the water, by the clouds
by the shore
is ignored
for
four
writing
as an animal in the biome
in space
